Need to cool off, but don't have a swimming pool in your backyard yet? Here are the top 5 Indiana water parks for those extra hot Summer days!


 

1. Holiday World Splash & Safari

Not only is this a water park, but they have a water coaster, too, called the Mammoth! Holiday World is located in Santa Claus Indiana. Because it doubles as a theme park, you can enjoy the rides, then go cool off in the water park!



2. Monon Community Center

Located in Carmel, this water park has the best activities. Not only are there slides and cabanas, but there's also a rock-climbing wall, a lazy river, and a FlowRider that makes waves so you can surf!



3. Splash Island

"The indoor aquatic center has three lap lanes, a two-story water-slide, an interactive children's play area, a gentle winding river and a pulsating vortex," while the outdoor aquatic area has all this plus more! Located in Plainfield, this is a great option for a fun weekend away (even in the winter!) since there are both indoor and an outdoor water parks.



4. Freedom Springs


This water park is located in Greenwood and features:

  • Tube slide

  • 2 body slides

  • Lazy river

  • 25m lap pool

  • 1m & 3m diving boards

This park is located in French Lick and has an array of pirate-themed water adventures such as Buccaneer Bay, a three-story play area with 50+ interactive activities; Scallywag Scuttle, and entirely enclosed body slide; and Lost River: a.k.a. a lazy river!
